We have a guided tour the first Saturday of every month at 10 am. Regular admission price for non-members.

January 4 (1 pm - 5 pm) & 5 (9 am - 4 pm), 2025

This event features prize-winning camellias of all sizes, shapes, and colors. This show is geared toward educating the public about the care, culture, and appreciation of camellias. Camellias will be available for sale while supplies last! Regular admission price for non-members, which includes entry into the gardens and the show. No solicitors allowed.

Every winter, Kanapaha holds an Annual Winter Bamboo Sale. In January, Kanapaha issues a descriptive sales/availability listing of bamboos that are being offered during January on a dug-to-order basis.

March 22 & 23,  2025

This is Gainesville's premier horticultural event. The Spring Garden Festival features 100 booths offering plants, landscape displays, garden accessories, arts and crafts, educational exhibits and, of course, foods. Also featured are live entertainment on Sunday.  Pets are not allowed at these festivals. No solicitors allowed.

October 18, 2025

Each October, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens holds an Open House & Fall Plant Sale, in conjunction with the Gainesville Orchid Society, inviting visitors to see the facility ADMISSION FREE. In addition to viewing the botanical gardens, approximately 50 booth will be set up selling a wide variety of plants. The American Orchid Society will have their annual American Orchid Society's judged show that will coincide with the Fall Plant Sale and will take place inside Kanapaha's entrance building.   Pets are not allowed at these festivals. No solicitors allowed.

On Mother's Day, mothers off all ages get free admission into Kanapaha.

On Father's Day, fathers get free admission into Kanapaha.

On Veterans Day, any active or retired military get free admission into Kanapaha.
